What’s Next?
Expanding our reach.
Since 2018, we’ve helped over 70,000 individuals through our hospital and medical camps alone. With your help, we’d like to expand our services and help even more people in rural Punjab. Explore the future of MPJ with us.
Treating Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is one of the major health problems faced by the Indian population. It is estimated that around 50 million people in India are osteoporotic or have low bone mass. In rural Punjab, most of the osteoporotic cases go untreated and undiagnosed leaving people with heightened risks of injury. With your help, we’d like to establish facilities for bone density examination, allowing the MPJ Charitable Hospital to assess the quality, structure, mineral density and mass of bones. This will allow us to recognise areas of concern and administer medications to improve bone health, aiding in the battle against osteoporosis.
Increased Medical Camps
Our free medical camps allow us to reach people in the rural Punjab community that may not be able to reach the MPJ Charitable Hospital on their own. Through our medical camps, we’re able to help almost 300 people per day.
Currently, we run the medical camps once per quarter and they last typically 3 days at a time. That’s over 800 people that are able to access free health care. With your help, we’d like to run them more frequently, allowing us to reach more of the population.
Help us do more.
With your help, we can expand our reach and services to the community. Your donation means the world to not only us, but the rural Punjab community.
